Introduction

With XMetaL Author Enterprise for Documentum DFS, you can now create XML content with unparalleled speed and ease. Together, XMetaL and Documentum provide everything your company needs to create, share, reuse, and deliver XML content in any format, for any destination.

With this version, XMetaL Author Enterprise for Documentum DFS is certified for use with Documentum Foundation Services 7.3 or above. Please note there is no longer a specific dependency on the Webtop version.

System requirements

The following system requirements must be met in order to use the software:

  • XMetaL Author Enterprise 14.0, 64-bit edition
  • .NET Framework 4.5.2 or higher
  • Windows 7 or higher
  • Server: Documentum® Foundation Services 7.3 or above

Known issues

Add/Remove Programs entry for XMetaL Author Enterprise for Documentum Webtop remains after upgrading

When upgrading to XMetaL Author Enterprise for Documentum DFS from a previous release, the Add/Remove Programs entry may still remain in place. At this time, the only workaround is to remove the XMetaL Author Enterprise for Documentum Webtop software beforehand.
